9th period
What does the 9th lesson cover?
The 9th period, from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM, provides children with an additional hour of care after the regular full-day program. It may include sports or creative activities as well as other educationally meaningful offerings. The structure is based on the children’s needs and is developed together with them, resulting in a varied and child-friendly program.
Who can book this?
The additional care can only be booked by families who use Package 1. It is only available in combination with this package and can be selected accordingly when booking the package.
Where does it take place?
The care takes place at the respective cooperating school that has been selected. It is primarily intended for all children who attend the regular full-day program there.
Is the care also provided on public holidays?
The care is only provided on days when the regular full-day program takes place in advance.

What is included in the price?
The price includes the daily lunch, all material costs, and any other additional expenses that may arise. It also covers possible supervision from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
When can I pick up my child?
In principle, your child can be picked up at any time. However, please note that depending on the program content—for example during excursions or special activities—fixed pick-up times may be specified.
When is the holiday program published?
The holiday program is usually published at the beginning of November for the following calendar year, in line with the second pre-booking phase.
The publication for the autumn holidays 2026 has been delayed once due to ongoing transition processes and will therefore only take place on May 4, 2026.
Is the booked program guaranteed?
We generally cannot guarantee the booked program. In rare, unforeseen cases—such as construction work or too few participants—it may be necessary to adjust or cancel programs.
For Package 1 and Package 2, care is guaranteed, but the program and location are not guaranteed in the cases described above.
When will I receive more detailed information about excursions, etc.?
Shortly before the start of the respective holiday week, you will receive an email with all important information—including details about excursions, meeting points, required materials, and other organizational notes.

Holidays and 9th period
Package 1: 9th period and guaranteed holiday care for 6 weeks
Costs:
- The cost is €85 per month
Services:
- 9th school period during the school term:
- Supervision from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM
- Supervision only on days with full-day care (not during holiday periods)
- Activities may be sports-based, creative, or educational and are developed together with the children on site
- Up to 6 weeks of guaranteed holiday care:
- The guarantee only applies if booked within the pre-booking period
- The week is guaranteed, but not the program or the care location
- Basic membership is included
- Existing members do not pay a basic fee during the contract period
Requirements:
- Package 1 can only be booked between May 1 and June 30 for the following school year (start: August 1)
Term & conditions:
- Fixed contract term: 12 months (start: August 1)
- Automatic termination after 12 months
- Pre-booking periods for holiday programs:
- From July 1 for the autumn holidays
- From November 1 for the Easter and summer holidays
- Each pre-booking period lasts 4 weeks
Package 2: Guaranteed holiday care for 3 weeks
Costs:
- The cost is €450
Services:
- Up to 3 weeks of guaranteed holiday care
- Additional programs can be booked without guarantee via Package 3
- The guarantee only applies if booked within the pre-booking period
- The week is guaranteed, but not the program or the care location
Requirements:
- Package 2 can only be booked from May 1 to June 30 for the following school year (start: August 1)
- Basic membership must be in place
Term & conditions:
- Pre-booking periods for holiday programs:
- From July 1 for the autumn holidays
- From November 1 for the Easter and summer holidays
- Each pre-booking period lasts 4 weeks
- The €450 fee will be collected after the booking phase (from July 1)
Package 3: Flexible individual booking
Costs:
- The cost is €150 per holiday week
Services:
- Individual holiday weeks can be booked flexibly
- Booking becomes available after the pre-booking periods for Package 1 and Package 2
- If there is overbooking, a waiting list will be used
Rebooking & cancellation:
- Up to 3 weeks before the start of the holiday week: free cancellation
- From 3 weeks before the start: 25% cancellation fee
- From 1 week before the start: 100% cancellation fee
- Bookings can be made flexibly up to 3 weeks before the start of the holiday week
- The €150 fee is collected after the holiday week
How do I book the packages?
The booking of the packages is done via the ASC App. Since the individual packages are activated at specific times (see package overview), they are only visible and bookable from that point onward. A corresponding link will also appear on this page once they are available.
Is there a sibling discount?
No, there is no sibling discount. The pricing is uniform and is structured into the three package categories.
What funding options will be available?
At this point in time, we are unfortunately unable to provide any concrete information, as the funding options are currently being reviewed by the City of Göttingen.
Is it possible to book Package 2 multiple times?
Yes, in principle it is possible to book Package 2 multiple times in order to extend the guaranteed period to up to six weeks.
